AA617 Acquisition Value Negative in area 01
Hi,
We are getting the above error message while executing a AuC-Fixed Asset final settlement for a few WBS Elements using CJ88.
encountered problem when trying to settle WBS elements for two projects, the error message saying that there is a negative value in area 01 which when running CJI3 cost report for the WBS elements C-A1AIR100026-00-01 and C-A1OFM090000-00-01 the values in AUD and USD are positive not negative. Both WBS elements can't be settled
Any insights pl ?

Results Analysis
Hello Every body,
I am new to SAP.
Can anyone advise me towards some useful information on Results Analysis,
Am aiming to understand Results Analysis from SAP Cost Controlling perspective and how the data is collected and calculated?
I have already studied all the sap library documentation related to Results Analysis, there are so many transactions mentioned and i m very much confused.
There is much theoretical information available but no practical implementation info is available.
Kindly guide me through the entire process and sequence of the Results Analysis
Like which t-code should be executed first and what are the pre-requisites and whatu2019s the output of each transaction/process.
what exactly is the need, uses and the output of the Results Analysis?
if any body could provide some readymade notes like pdf etc, APART FROM THE SAP LIBRARY it would be great.

FI document from activity confirmation
Hi experts;
After making activity confirmation for a project through CN25 to post the actual costs including the labor costs. System should create FI documents for such incurred costs.
How can I follow or from which screen or what is the path to trace my FI documents? And is there a way to find out all of the FI documents posted to certain project within a certain period?

SAP PS BADI to add network in WBS while creating Project.
Hi All,
In the CJ20N transaction while creating the project, I want to add network to the lowest level WBS in the project.
I want to do this when the project is getting created.
Is there any BADI OR any other enhancement for this?

Customer project closure
Hello friends,
I have below queries and I expect your help in understanding the same.
1. 1. In Investment /capital projects we end up the project in capitalizing the Asset and then start functioning (depreciating) the same. But, what exactly we do in customer /sales project (once we do final settlement, do we sell project? If yes, how? Do Result Analysis (RA) and COPA are required here?
2. 2. At the time of final settlement in customer project we have receivers as GL and Profitability Segment, how does these two differ in their own way?
3. 3. How do we close a customer project?

Material To be Valuated in Project System
Hi All,
We are implementing PS,MM,SD,FI &CO for a companay which works essentially on engineer to order scenario and using vlauated projec stock & actvity account assigned networks
Inhouse production is through typical assembly processing process - Where input & output materials are transferred through BOM PS Transfer from WBS BOM.
Input materials are issued to activity; work performed by work centers are entered by confirmation; at completion of work out put materials is 'Received from activity'. Both material issue and receipt are done wrt reservation.
When this is done, as per standard process, the cost addition (and hence value addition) is to activity and thereby to WBS element. The output material is not valuated. All the cost(or values) become project value which will reflect in WIP calculation. WIP is calculated as month end process.
At month end if the company wants to know the current asset from project and relevant stocks:
= WIP of project + Inventory value of the mmaterials.
Pl. note that only input materials i.e. raw materials and Bought out materials will have inventory value; the output material will not have any value.
The process is alright and I think we are alos complying to Accounting stanadard for project system - directive from Institute of Chartered accounts - India.
This process was first aceeptable to customer; but now they say - the out put materials should be valuated. So that, when inventory value is taken - it is RM+BO and valuated semifinished +valuaed finished materials
One big reason they say is that they have to show inventory value to the Banks.
Now I need clarification in following points
1. How to valuate the out put material when working only with project system. (apart from using user exit )
2. If this is done, the project cost/WIP calculations will show ups amd downs - as goods receipt with valuated value will be with 
sign - this will reduced the cost. This will cause variuos problems - almost no standard SAP PS cost report will reflect the reality - WIP can not go up and down...This is illogical.
3. Have you faced similar situation in implementation - that - Banks can not be conviced about this PSway of WIP calculation? Taking into consideration that project implementation is in India - an experienced reply can be very helpful
