How to do the configuration to allow budget check at PO level and not PR level?

Dear all,

 

May I know how to do configuration to allow only budget check at PO level and not PR level? The requirement is when budget is exceeded at PR level, only warning message is displayed and when convert PR to PO, if budget is exceeded, error message is displayed and does not allow to convert to PO.

 

I have done the configuration as per below:

AVAC.png

I manage to create PR when budget is exceeded and warning message is displayed. However, I am able to convert PR to PO as well although budget is exceeded.

 

May I know how to solve this? Or any configuration issue with this?

AA617 Acquisition Value Negative in area 01

Hi,

 

We are getting the above error message while executing a AuC-Fixed Asset final settlement for a few WBS Elements using CJ88.

 

encountered problem when trying to settle WBS elements for two projects, the error message saying that there is a negative value in area 01 which when running CJI3 cost report for the WBS elements C-A1AIR100026-00-01 and C-A1OFM090000-00-01 the values in AUD and USD are positive not negative. Both WBS elements can't be settled

 

Any insights pl ?

Hello Every body,

 

I am new to SAP.

 

Can anyone advise me towards some useful information on Results Analysis,

Am aiming to understand Results Analysis from SAP Cost Controlling perspective and how the data is collected and calculated?

 

I have already studied all the sap library documentation related to Results Analysis, there are so many transactions mentioned and i m very much confused.

 

There is much theoretical information available but no practical implementation info is available.

 

Kindly guide me through the entire process and sequence of the Results Analysis

 

Like which t-code should be executed first and what are the pre-requisites and whatu2019s the output of each transaction/process.

 

what exactly is the need, uses and the output of the Results Analysis?

 

if any body could provide some readymade notes like pdf etc, APART FROM THE SAP LIBRARY it would be great.

 

Hoping for an early response and Thanking in advance.

2) now I also need to link these with PO number ???

Need help to track cost on Activity Network

Hello,

 

I am very new in SAP PS, I do not have knowledge as IT or Consultancy in ABAP. I have a situation and I need to propose something to the Bussiness/IT.

 

I need to see all detailed costs on Network actovity. We have some Networks with more activites; after working hours are booked we can see in CN41N an overall of total hours booked on each activity, but cost are only on Network level. I can see in CN48N detailed extract on Activity, but unfortunatelly it does not include any costs. It include all the informatin I need, but without costs.

 

Maybe there is not defned in the system to view total costs on Activity also in CN41N and can be defined? Maybe that can be extracted from a table from SE16?

Hi,

 

I Need some information and help related to Primavera - SAP Interface/ integration.

 

1. what are the Prerequisites?

 

2. How it works - means how data will get transferred from primaver to SAP?

 

3. whether this transferr is Direct or some third party tool required. if yes then may know the options?

 

4. How much it cost approximate?  any option to transfer data without any third party tool?

 

5. any documents if you are having related to this please do send on same Id

WBS Commitments not generated

Hi All,

 

 

I am facing an issue that on a WBSE whenever I create PR/PO the commitment budget is not getting generated on WBSE, means in CJI5 that particular line item is not visible. But PR/PO is generated and saved. Which should not happen, because commitments haven't generated.By doing some R&D, I found that it is happening due to incorrect GL entry in valuation class of material.

 

So what I want that system will restrict the PR/PO until the commitment getting generated against the WBSE. Please give your valuable suggestions.

Hiding Activity Elements on the Project Planning Board

Hi All,

 

I have a couple of activity elements on a Project that I do not wish to see on the Project Planning Board and would like it to default whenever I go in so that these are hidden

 

In the PS IMG, against the Project Planning Board Profile, it is set so that Activity Elements are not to be displayed, yet whenever I go into the Planning Board via CJ20N they are still there, and I have to hide them manually. Is there any reason why the Planning Board Profile should be behaving this way or is there another setting that overrides this?

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

WBS Budget exceeded error when creating PO

Dear Experts,

 

As am unable to create PO getting WBS budget exceeded error.

 

I tried below ways but still issue exists, Can anyone help me on this.

 

1) Budget available in CJ30, S_ALR_87013558, already actual data is available for other WBS elemenets till last month.

2) I tried reconstructing the availability control using the transaction CJEN but still not able to create PO

3) Deactivated availability control: CJBW, refresh data base: CJEN and  Activate avialabilty control: CJBV.


Please help
