There is problem with the job run of CJ45 Overhead cost calculation which runs daily for all projects in our system. Strangely the time to run this job increases day by day for almost 30 days and this is not fixed. The objects selected in the beginning is around 4,84,935 which takes 1246 sec while gradually this increases the object selection also increases cummulatively. In the end almost after 30-35 days the object selected is 4,88,057 whereas the run time is increased to 40,000 sec and this increased gradually everyday. Suddenly after the next day again it takes only 1909 sec though the objects selected has increased to 4,89,115. We functionally cannot understand the issue and why the time for calculation of overheads based on the costing sheets can take so long and looked from a technical angle. After discussion with SAP they mentioned of Notes 213098(Index switch for table COEP) and also Note 95274 for adding a secondary index. We are also seeing from the angle if any other jobs running at the same time is causing the problem. But asking all if anybody has faced a similar issue before. Do you think we need to check anything from PS angle?
